Welcome to CampusKonnect Digital Services Ltd (“CampusKonnect,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CampusKonnect and govern your access to and use of our website, platform, content, and related services.

By clicking “I Agree” or by using any part of our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms as well as the Privacy Policy referenced within them.

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• When you create an account on CampusKonnect, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process.
• Your account is personal to you and must not be shared with anyone else, except where we expressly authorize multi-user accounts for landlords or property managers.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details, and you must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

To access and use our platform, you will need to provide certain personal and financial information.

The way we collect, use, and process your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree that CampusKonnect may process personal data for the purposes of enabling property listings, facilitating communication between landlords and tenants, and processing payments in line with regulatory requirements.

CampusKonnect is an online platform that connects landlords, property managers, and owners with prospective tenants.

Through the platform, landlords can list properties, tenants can search for and apply to rent them, and both parties can communicate directly. We also provide payment processing support for rental transactions and may carry out verification checks on certain listings.

Users posting content must undergo KYC verification and agree to applicable terms, including providing valid ID and selfies when requested.

When using our Services, you agree to use them only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Post false or misleading property information.
• Use the platform to harass, abuse, or defraud others.
• Access unauthorized accounts or data.
• Upload content that infringes on the rights of others.
• Engage in activities that disrupt the normal functioning of our platform.

All intellectual property in the platform, including its software, content, designs, and branding, belongs to CampusKonnect or its licensors.

While you have a limited license to use the Services for your own rental-related purposes, you may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written consent, nor may you use it to create or improve a competing service.

Some of our Services may be subject to fees or commissions.

By using these Services, you agree to pay all applicable charges as published on our website or communicated to you directly. All fees are exclusive of taxes, and payments must be made through the approved methods. Except where required by law, all payments are non-refundable, and failure to pay on time may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Services.

CampusKonnect is continuously developing and improving its platform.

As a result, certain features may change, be updated, or become temporarily unavailable. While we work to keep the platform reliable and secure, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation at all times.

You use the platform at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We also do not guarantee that all property information provided by users will be accurate or complete.

CampusKonnect will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, except where such losses are caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CampusKonnect, its affiliates, directors, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities that may arise from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights. This indemnity also extends to disputes between you and other users of the platform.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse the platform. Upon termination, your login credentials will be disabled, and your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If a dispute arises between you and CampusKonnect regarding your use of the Services or these Terms, we both agree to first attempt to resolve it amicably. If resolution cannot be achieved within fifteen (15) days, either party may refer the matter to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.

The arbitration will be conducted in English, in line with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004. The decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding, with each party bearing its own legal costs and sharing the administrative costs equally, unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
